SONY CLIE PDAs WITH ON-THE-GO USB
Sony is intending to upgrade its Palm PDAs from the Clie product line with the new On-the-Go USB interface technology. The technology allows a direct connection from peripheral devices without having to use a computer as a go-between. A PocketPC could therefore synchronise its address data with the mobile handset or a digital camera could save pictures to an external hard drive.
